Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Level Construction/Municipal Engineer with at least 10 years’ of professional experience for our New York (Englewood, NJ), office. The qualified candidate must have a degree in engineering and a P.E. License. Responsibilities

In this role you will inspect, study, assess, and determine the cause and origin of failures and defects related to storm water management, grading, water and waste water distribution systems, and road ways, along with general building systems . You must possess good client and communication skills. You also must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to perform inspections on construction sites and on ladders/roofs. Conduct field evaluations and provide verbal and written reports of findings. Provide expert testimony via depositions or in a court of law as required. Develop client relationships by providing and maintaining the companies high standard of customer service and client communications. Work with local and national marketing managers to establish and grow relationships. Multitask; work to meet schedule, commitments, and multiple assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering
  • N.Y. and N.J. Professional Engineering License (P.E.) is required.
  • Must be eligible and able to apply and receive P.E. licenses of other designated states within 4 months of employment.
